November 2, 2007 Dear Fans, My last game at AT&T Park was extremely memorable and I didn't know what kind of emotions I would go through. It's hard to say good-bye to people who have been your family for so many years. But I will tell you this, I had so much fun playing that night in front of all you fans. It was a thrill to run out to left field for the first time since my toe injury and be greeted with such enthusiasm. It's been an incredible journey in San Francisco and I will value the memories forever. The past month has really gone by fast for me. I have been able to be at home and hang with my family, go on a few hunting trips (that's my new hobby) and work on my golf game. Last week I had the honor of joining my good friend, Ray Taliafero for a conversation program with the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco. It was held at the Hotel Nikko and I was surprised to see so many of my friends there. I am constantly reminded of the love and support I have in San Francisco. On Saturday, I was extremely surprised by a few of my good friends, Eddie Murphy, Tyler Perry and Johnny Gill. They had come together to put on an event to celebrate breaking the Home Run Record. I was truly amazed and honored by the attendance of so many celebrities, all-star athletes and of course my wonderful family. Words can t explain the feeling I had being on stage with Magic Johnson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Los Angeles Mayor Villaraigosa, Quincy Jones, Eddie, Tyler, Johnny, Marcus Allen, and my good friends and teammates -- Rich Aurilia, Ryan Klesko, Matt Williams, Kenny Lofton, Vince Coleman and Bobby Bonilla to name a few. There were performances by some of my favorite singers including Charlie Wilson from the Gap Band, Johnny, Bobby Brown and Ralph from New Edition and Teena Marie. It was a fantastic party and I would also like to thank many of my personal friends who made the trip out to California from all over the country. I have started my training again and I look forward to what next year will bring. I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween. Barry Bonds
