Roshard W Jones - New York
Q: I remember you had an interview with ESPN and you were mentioning that you "catch" a pitch. What did you mean by that?
A: I'm not ready to give out all my secrets on hitting, but, if you can catch the ball, you can hit it.

Bobby Chandler - Turlock, CA
Q: Hey B, why no earring anymore?
A: I do wear it, but not all the time. Sometimes my ear gets irritated and I have to keep it out for a while.

Jerry Martin - Witchita, KS
Q: Who is the hardest pitcher that you have ever faced?
A: Jesse Orosco was always tough for me because of his wind-up.

Ray Granger - Glen St. Mary, Florida
Q: Do you eat the same foods everyday?
A: No, I have something different everyday. I try to eat at least four or five times a day. I have a chef who makes sure that I'm getting the right amounts of carbs, proteins and fats throughout the day to keep me at my max performance level.

Hollis - Horseheads, NY
Q: I've always wondered who designed your earring and where it was made?
A: Shapur Jewelery in San Francisco. It was a cross that my Grand Dad gave me, that I had made into this earring.

Michael Hickey - Pennsylvania
Q: Barry, when you were a kid did you like sports (baseball)?
A: Yes, I liked baseball but I also played basketball and football.

Anthony Marciano - New York
Q: Do you have any desire to play in the Bronx one day?
A: Do they have a team there??? Just kidding. I'm too old, and will hopefully end my career in San Francisco.

Timmy Gillespie - New Jersey
Q: Barry what was the team you hit your first home run off of?
A: Atlanta Braves - June 4, 1986. Craig McMurtry was pitching. I think I went 4-for-5 that day, but the best part was that we beat Atlanta pretty badly (12-3).
